The current crop of leaders have totally failed the people of Seychelles. The Covid pandemic and the impending general election have exposed them to the elements of strong and capable leadership. The police chiefs are falling way short of their target to establish law and order in the country. The fabric of the Seychellois society have become loose under the current political leaders in power both in the legislative and the executive. The Electoral Commission has become a wobbly organization with its knees knocking together on a regular basis, which is prompting many to ask to bring back Gappy.

This is uncertain times for the Seychellois, who had been clamoring for change and a better equitable distribution of the wealth of the country. The situation right now in the country is full of the uncertainties of the past. If the country ends up in the wrong hands the future could be dark and gloomy. The prospect now for Seychelles is certainly a departure from the same old people with the same old ideas. The time for a real change is here. Let’s clutch it with both hands and bring in the orange team.
