Seychellois Staff murmurs at Four Seasons Desroches

Word has it that Four Seasons Desroches Island has asked its Seychellois staff, or most of it, to leave the island and return to Mahe in order to avoid paying them from July onwards, while there is a foreign member of the management staff whose GOP has ended and is still working on the island.

The Seychellois are said to be currently negotiating their situation and their future with the Ministry of Employment.

If the staff concerned or indeed Four Seasons would care to enlighten us and put the record straight we would be more than happy to print it. The Ministry of Employment must ensure that the Seselwa staff and expat are treated fairly by their employer.
