THIS WEEK IN THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF SEYCHELLES

The Sittings of the National Assembly on Tuesday the 14th and Wednesday the 15th July, 2020 at 0900hrs.

The following business will be laid before the House:

1. The Seychelles Human Rights Commission Annual Report 2019 will be presented.

2. Question Time will begin with the Minister for Habitat, Infrastructure and Land Transport, Mrs. Pamela Charlette, answering Questions for Oral Answer from Hon. Waven William, Hon. Phillip Arissol, Hon. Regina Esparon, Hon. Jude Valmont and Hon. Gervais Henrie.

3. Minister Charlette will also be answering an Urgent Question from Hon. Waven William.

4. The Minister for Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning, Mr. Maurice Loustau-Lalannewill appear before the House to answer a Private Notice Question from Hon. Wavel Ramkalawan –The Leader of the Opposition.

5. The House will continue its scrutiny of the Mental Health Care Bill, 2019 (Bill No. 6 of 2019) at Committee Stage and this bill is being presented by the Vice President of Seychelles, Mr. Vincent Meriton.

6. Four Motions are laid before the House notably by Hon. Bernard Georges and Hon. Charles de Com-marmond.

7. The Civil Code of Seychelles Bill, 2018 (Bill No.13 of 2018) remains on the Order Paper to be taken at Third Reading later.T
