Could Police have lost the body parts of Patrick Derjacques?

POLICE COMMISSIONER KISHNAN LABONTE KEEPS HOGGING THE HEADLINES, BUT FOR THE WRONG REASONS

Seychellois Patrick Derjacques went missing in December 2019, and up to now his sister Ms. Giselle Antat is still trying to find out from the Police what happened.

According to Ms. Antat: no word from President Danny Faure even after he promised to speak to the Police Commissioner; noreply from the Police Commissioner, and last but not least no reply from the President to a letter she wrote to him recently.

It followed a question at the most recent live press conference at State House from the Editor of The Seychelles Independent. Herletter was hand delivered at the gates of State House over two weeks ago. She has not heard from the office of the President. And the Police has not responded accord-ingly.

In March this year she called the office of the Commissioner for an appointment and she was told to come on 28th March but due to the restrictions on movement because of COVID-19 this appointment was cancelled. The Secretary in the office of the Commissioner phoned her to promise another date, but again it never materialized.

The lady has now contacted this newspaper again after seven months of this incident happening to try to get some answers from Mr. Kishnan Labonte and his crew.

This is a despicable situation by any standard from the Chief of Police. They are not giving Ms. Antat and her deceased brother the respect and dignity that they deserve. It goes to show the very low level of morality within the leadership in Seychelles. This is proof if it was ever needed that the authorities (Executive, Judiciary, and Legislature) inSey-chelles have no respect for the ordinary people. Yet, when Ferrari lost his son briefly many years ago the whole army with helicopter was sent out to search for the little brat.

POOR LIVES MATTER TOO!!
